‘’Home is wherever I’m with you’’

There was a young lady, tired of everything in her Hometown,  she was just waiting for the day of  her high school graduation to finally be free; she wanted to go to Valentí  a really big and beautiful city so far away from home but things wouldn’t be as easy as she thought.

One day she met a guy that became her best friend and the most important person in her life; August
11th was the happiest day for her, despite the rain, they went out at night to see the stars on the top of the roof of his house and in that accurate moment he said that she was the most beautiful girl that he had ever seen. That confession made her incredibly happy but she was also confused because the decision of going to Valentí was already taken.

The same day at night she asked herself ‘’Am I stronger enough to have a long distance relationship? Is he stronger enough to love me even when I’m the one who is leaving this town?’’  She couldn’t sleep that night she had a burst of different feelings.

 

The time passed and they were together and stronger than ever but in distance and missing each other every second; she was studying and working as a chambermaid and he was working as a cosmologist in his father's company. 

The months kept going and they turned into years, she was almost depressed, tired of being alone and doing stuffs that didn’t make her happy anymore.

They  had seen each other on vacations, one of those days they were on his bed just kissing and enjoying the time together but it wasn’t enough for her, she was getting sad and appalled, in 8 days she would be back in Valentí alone again, she felt defeated because being away of what she ran off wasn’t as good as she expected and all the mess they had gone through was all because of her idea; Immediately he noticed the gaze of sadness in his girlfriend eyes and he knew the reason why, She said to him ‘’ I don’t know how much I can wait, I just don’t feel happy without you in Valentí or in any place where you're not there, you became my home, if you’re with me it doesn’t matter where I am’’  and then, he respond to her ‘’ You’re the strongest person that I’ve known, please, don’t give up now. I’ll wait for you, for us;  I know that you’re tired of being alone, believe me, i'm too but you are the one who makes me happy and even if we’re together just once  a year that would be enough for me. In 2 years we will be living together, as we always wanted, just think about it’’ he took her hand and felt how perfectly it fit in his hand and she knew they were a unbelievable junction of two.
